Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, born on February 20, 2003 is an American actor and singer-songwriter. In the latter part of the decade her fame was built on her roles as the lead actress in Disney's television shows Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). After joining Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo dropped her first single "Drivers License", which broke various records and was one of the top-selling tracks in 2021. This pushed her to the forefront of pop culture. It was followed by three singles "Deja Vu", "Good 4 U" and her debut studio album, Sour (2021), which received critical as well as commercial success and won three Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary on her creative process behind Sour came out in 2022. She was also honored with an American Music Award and seven Billboard Music Awards, as in addition to four MTV Video Music Awards. Time announced her as the 2021 Entertainer of the Year . Billboard named her the Woman of the Year in 2022.
For her work in music, Rodrigo has various accolades that include three Grammy Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards as well as four MTV Video Music Awards, four iHeartRadio Music Awards and two People's Choice Awards, an American Music Award, a Brit Award and the Juno Award.Rodrigo was included in the 2021 edition Time magazine's 100 Next list,[110] and was named Time's Entertainment Star of the Year for 2021.
