Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be to be one of the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion at Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for 11 years under the direction of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercise at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an elite competition level in 2011. Within two years she had been the best in this particular event. Her consistency, her vivacious character and her high level of effort during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
