Alessia Cara

Her debut track Here was released in the year 2015. It received lots of acclaim and was well received by both listeners and critics. It reached 19th place on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of the year. This same year, she also released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of the five original songs that reached Billboard's chart. In her interview with Rap-Up the listeners discussed Cara's journey to self-love and her fears. Cara includes messages of kindness and loving yourself throughout her songs. The inspiration for her music is derived from her own struggle to conquer mental health issues and insomnia. Reuters reported that she called her album "half tumultuous, half perfected". The singer says that she experienced growth in therapy. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11, 1996. Alessia Cara's parents gave her their first guitar when she was 10. This was her beginning with music. After three years, at 13 she started singing her most loved songs through YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic opportunity to show others her talent and courage. In fact the cover song Sweater Weather became the track that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to create and record her own music.
